I was excited to join #RidetheChange (RTC) again this year to inspire people to take action on #climatechange. Around 70 cyclists completed a four day ride from London to Brussels for #EarthDay and I joined them for day 1, cycling around 70 miles (125km) from London to Harwich. I think it was the furthest I have cycled in a day in over 30 years!

Rather than asking for sponsorship, the cyclists on RTC asked people to support the ride by making personal climate pledges on the RTC website by choosing to try a simple action from the list provided – it includes 70 Do Actions, big and small.

These actions help us send a powerful message to the world that the people are ready for change.
